I am passionate about all things nature. From the smallest microalgae to the awe inspiring whales of our coastal waters, I am enthralled. And from a young age I've have enjoyed getting my hands dirty. Fortunately for me I found my way into the career of gardening over a decade ago and never looked back! I now get to do my part to bring back as much of the natural world that we city folks have lost as I can. I am also in love with food! Nothing is better than organic healthy food and herbs that come from your own yard.

Over the years I have refined my understanding of the soil food web as well as the more intricate workings of the greater urban ecosystem. I now use that knowledge to help people restore their yards and grow delicious food while doing their part to help the natural world around us.
